Steam explicitly connects water manipulation and chain reactions. Before attacking, identify available water, nearby hazards and the path a reaction could follow.
Build one reproducible chain
Use the same encounter and change one input at a time. A repeatable two-step interaction is more useful than an unexplained lucky clear.
